Gov. Walz, legislative leaders reach budget deal
Under the framework, Minnesota will have a two-year budget that will be around $66 billion to $67 billion. It aims to control spending growth in social services and education to address a $6 billion shortfall looming later this decade. That’s down from the last budget, which topped $70 billion.
